Customers can benefit from rewards on the web or in stores. Retailers can reach out to customers via SMS and e-mail with offers that are tailored to each profile.

Prepaid account services

Customers can save time and money by opening prepaid TagPay accounts with their favorite retailers.

No prior enrollment is necessary. The customer simply deposits the prepayment in a retail point of sale or can load their prepaid account on the web using a payment card.

When paying in a store or on the web the customer is invited to enter their mobile phone number. Any special promotions or discounts that the customer qualifies for are sent to the merchant terminal or website.

The customer approves the amount due and enters their pass code. TagPay instantly calls the customer’s phone and sends an NSDT™ chirp through the terminal. When heard by the customer’s phone the transaction is completed and the customer’s prepaid account is debited.

Customers can send money to other cell phones even if they are not yet enrolled—this is done on the TagPay website or by calling an Interactive Voice Response server. This simple and practical gift function makes TagPay prepaid accounts a highly viral loyalty solution.

Customer rewards services

Customers can use their cell phones to redeem various rewards in a store or on the web. To redeem rewards, the customer enters their phone number in the merchant’s terminal (or webpage). Any special offers that the customer qualifies for based on his or her profile, past purchase behavior, and retail settings are sent to the merchant’s terminal or web page. TagPay calls the customer’s phone and the customer brings their phone towards the terminal to capture the NSDT™ chirp and authenticate the presence of their mobile.
